With nearly two decades of hospitality experience, Chef Oscar Vargas, formerly of Kenoza Hall and The DeBruce, now leads "The 1907" at Roscoe Mountain Club as Executive Chef.
Raised in the South Bronx by Dominican and Cuban immigrant parents, Chef Vargas's culinary journey began early, influenced by his family's traditions and experiences. From the Flatiron District to Hoboken, he honed his skills and gained expertise in diverse cuisines and high-volume operations, including catering for national touring acts and Fortune 500 companies.
Chef Vargas brings his passion and multicultural influences to the Catskills, shaping unforgettable dining experiences at "The 1907."
